Logitech G9 Mouse Review

The Logitech G9 mouse happens to have a much more square shape than you might be used to, but that doesn't mean its not comfortable to use. In the rare case that you're not a fan of the way it feels, though, the G9 mouse from Logitech has 2 different grips that you can swap between depending on your personal preference.

This bad boy has an incredibly fast dpi, with its top tracking speed being at 3200 dpi. In addition, it also has a memory chip that lets it store as many as 5 varying profile settings. It also has on the fly dpi switching so you can switch quickly. Finally, you can switch out various weights in order to fine tune the weight of thegaming mouse.

So lets talk buttons. The G9 has 9 amazing buttons that I'll touch on right now. It has 2 main buttons, 2 for adjustments, 2 for the thumb, and then the wheel mouse. The wheel mouse can be pushed down as normal, but it can also be pushed to the right or left which adds 2 more buttons to the mix.

To further prove Logitech's amazing mouse creation abilities, this mouse allows you to have custom led coloring. So, depending on your preference, you can switch between 200 plus different color choices. Whether your preference is blue, purple, red, or yellow, you can play with the lights and figure out what your personal favorite happens to be.

I should briefly mention the only complaint for the Logitech G9 mouse. Some think that it might be just a little too small for their preference, and that the grip is slightly too smooth for them. A few people also happen to mention that they don't think its comfortable, but I mentioned that above (you have 2 different options.)

Overall, this great gaming mouse has many more features than you'd ever want or need. If you want something powerful, and that looks cool, then the G9 mouse from Logitech is definitely what you should go with.

Hey Abigail, thanks, glad you liked it. Great question, can't believe I never thought of it before as something people might wonder about!
 
When most people make the switch from a normal 2-4 button mouse they slowly use more and more buttons on something with this many buttons. Essentially you just program them to do what you want and go in and practice with it, incorporating them more and more into whatever it is you need them for. It'll take some time for it to not feel awkward, but not as much as you might think, and when you get comfortable with it its awesome.
